Peacae Recorder stores WebM files locally in your browser or desktop folder — no cloud sync, no account, and full control over download and delete.
Cloud recorders are convenient until you need confidentiality, offline access, or simple deletion. Peacae Recorder keeps captures on the device where you recorded them.
Web recorder storage
In the browser, finished recordings appear in your library on the same origin. They persist after refresh until you remove them or clear site data. Download any file you want to archive or edit elsewhere.
Desktop app storage
The Mac and Windows app saves .webm files to your Peacae folder by default. Reveal in Finder or Explorer from the library when you need the file on disk. Desktop and web libraries do not mix.
You stay in control
No uploads, no account, no tracking. Delete from the library when you are done, or download first if you want a backup. That is the trade-off we optimize for: speed and privacy on your machine.
