How Peacae Recorder handles your data — and why most of it never leaves your device.

Peacae Recorder is built by Wekify LLC as part of the Peacae product family. This app is designed to run in your browser and keep recordings on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not intentionally collect or upload your recordings to Peacae or Wekify servers.
We do not ask for your name, email address, or payment details to use Peacae Recorder. We do not operate a cloud library for your recordings, and we do not sell personal information. The app is not designed to transmit recording content to us.
To record, the app requests access through your browser — for example screen or tab capture, microphone input, and optionally your camera. These permissions are handled by your browser and operating system. You can deny or revoke them at any time in your browser or device settings.
Completed recordings and their metadata are stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB on the same origin where you use the app. Recordings remain available after refresh until you delete them or clear site data. Private or incognito sessions may remove stored recordings when the session ends.
We do not intentionally share your recordings with third parties. If you download a file or share it yourself, that happens outside the app under your control. Your browser, operating system, or extensions you install may process data according to their own policies.
You can rename, download, or delete recordings from the app. Clearing this site's storage in your browser removes saved recordings. You may stop using the app at any time.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
